Orient Beach is one of the most desired beach destinations in the Caribbean. This mile long expanse of sand features gentle surf for excellent swimming. Beach chairs and umbrellas are easily rentable along the beach. The south end of the beach contains a large clothing optional beach with restaurants and bars. If total exposure is not your thing, the remainder of the beach contains everything from day-trippers on cruise lines, European families, local French people and North Americans, enjoying the water, sun, air, wind and sand wearing everything from some clothes to lots of clothes. Remember, this is France. This is a very family friendly area, the water is quite shallow and safe and you will see many children. The beach has many beach bars and restaurants and award winning chefs. The local village offers some music, eating places, a small grocery store (with alcohol sales) and other shops to buy things. |

Activities There are several activities available in the area, including; parasail, jet ski, snorkeling, boogie board, hobie cat sailing, on the water trampoline. Of course you can also spend time just watching the people from around the world. |
